"I am thankful to the Prince George and District Music Festival for providing me the opportunity to learn from excellent adjudicators. Working with these adjudicators strengthened my technical and performance abilities. I was fortunate to perform regularly and prepare challenging repertoire which improved my overall playing level. As a result I was given the opportunity to tour across Canada with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. I am truly grateful to the Prince George and District Music Festival for creating a venue for me to collaborate with terrific musicians throughout my youth."

"I participated in the Prince George & District Music Festival for more than 10 years. The support that I received was fundamental in my growth as a performer, musician, student, and leader. I am very grateful to the many donors throughout Prince George who so generously provided scholarship funding. As a result, I was afforded opportunities to perform, compete, and meet other amazing young musicians from all over BC. These experiences helped shape my identity and provided an excellent platform for me to continue creating and playing music after high school."
